In 2010, our founder, Naren Shaam, embarked on an extensive Backpacking Trip through Europe.

Where he was going, he already knew, but to find the best form of travel – the cheapest bus ticket on the right train – was not always easy. Only his wallet was lighter.

Since the idea of a multi-mode travel page came to him. Not long shilly -: Job in New York cancelled, and on to Berlin, with its emerging Start-up scene.

Anfang des Jahres 2019 wurde aus GoEuro Omio (Oh-MI-oh).

We wanted to create a brand that connects us better with our users. Why Omio? The Name is simple, unique, fresh, and easy to pronounce. The two "O" are a nod to our roots, GoEuro, and represent two points on a map – after all, Connections are what drives us.

We have also selected a new, soothing color palette, and illustrations added to clarify the beauty of travel.

Despite all these Changes, we remain of the Mission of GoEuro true: We are still the best platform for your claims with regard to rail, Bus and flight bookings. We have adapted our product so that it runs faster and more efficiently and seamlessly between Desktop, mobile Internet and the App switching back and forth can.

In 15 countries with a full product (number rising), 27 million users from 120 countries in a month, 800 transportation providers and partners, as well as over 100,000 destinations in Europe!
